Frequently Asked Questions
Are you a new Recording Arts school?
Yes, but we come with an amazing depth of experience. Our Director has 28 years experience as a Recording Arts Educator, and owned
and operated Los Angeles Recording Workshop from 1985-2004. Academy of Digital Arts is his vision of a world-class Recording Arts School
without the sky-high tuition.
Are tuition loans available?
No. It's part of our Core Philosophy that students and parents shouldn't take on huge debt. We do offer a pay-as-you-go plan without
additional cost. Our Recording Arts Associate of Science Degree Program completes in 12 months. Divide the tuition by 12, then make monthly payments
as you're attending.
What are your class sizes?
Lectures are up to 24 students. Labs are never more than 8 students. Larger than that and you'll never get the personal attention you
need from the lab instructor. It's the instructor's job to make sure everyone in the lab really gets it, really understands the task
and can complete it. It's a part of our Core Philosophy. Smaller is better.
When do Encino classes begin?
The Encino facilities should be complete by the end of March, 2012. We'll start the Recording Arts Degree Program May 14th, 2012.
